Stocks and Shares
What are shares?
A share represents a share of ownership in a company or business, and these shares are listed on a stock exchange. When you buy a share, you are buying a small stake in a company. You become a joint-owner of the company along with all the other shareholders, and you are invited to have a say in a number of the decisions the company makes.

When someone invest in shares, the plan is for the share price to go up in value over time, and also to profit from a share in the company in the shape of dividend payments. Shares give the investor the opportunity for a steady, regular income & capital growth
Why invest in stocks & shares?
Traditionally, over the long term, which is considered to be at least ten years, shares have normally been a better performing asset than cash, bonds and property. though, financial experts will always point out that past performance is not essentially an indicator of how well an asset will perform in the future.
